    when your diabetic you must monitor and control what goes in your mouth. I have relaid to my doc that I made pinto beans and added one cup of rice to pot. She protested until she found out it was to a huge pot and I my self would only get a small fraction of the rice. She approved at that point. small amounts of carbs are OK as long as your numbers are stable and low. you must also consult with your doc.
